Arts in Schools Programme 2022 - It’s a wrap.

As one of the Trusts strategic objectives, late last year, we delivered our first Arts In Schools Pilot Programme. With over 340 primary school students involved, students worked alongside local professional artists within their schools to create their own art piece.

The feedback has been outstanding.

  • 96% of the students realised they had the potential to be creative

  • 100% of the teachers felt the students benefited from the programme

We asked the children how this programme made them feel, and the main words we heard were ‘proud, joyful and happy’.

The Arts in Schools programme is underway for the 2022 school year, and we look forward to updating you as we proceed. Interested in getting involved or supporting the project, send us an email HERE.

As said by Kym Beaton, one of the programme’s artists, “what an opportunity for the custodians of our future visual history.”
