Sharing some of our local RenewArt 2020 artists and performers here.

Introducing Jasmine Clark.

I gained a Bachelor in three-dimensional design at Auckland’s Unitec Design School, as well as having a Visual Arts certificate from Nelson Polytechnic.
An exploration of several art making methods and mediums led me to find my artistic niche in basketry. Over the past 20 years I have honed my skills and developed unique techniques and processes and am well known for my innovative approach.

My artworks are made of wire, bull kelp and natural materials which illustrates my ongoing research into new materials. My work is reflective of nature and communicates an affinity towards the environment. I have exhibited extensively and won numerous prizes.

I work from my home in Arrowtown which also houses my “Little Hut Gallery” – open by appointment.
