About the Artist:
Kat Heap is mostly a paper based artist with work in collage, linoprinting, pen and ink, and photography.
Kat grew up in London and moved to Wānaka over 20 years ago and loves to capture snippets of joy (and all the other shades of human experience) weaving them together through different media.
Kat has a particular love of old paper and books, as well as making art from things which would otherwise have gone in the bin.
