Shala - Elle Smith

Shala was once Elle Smith's art studio, and the walls of the yoga space still act as a gallery, with a rotating exhibition of works by Elle and other local artists.

Peruse artworks in a beautiful and serene space, tucked away in central Wānaka.

• Directions: Shala shares the building with the Otago Daily Times, and is situated next door to The Next Chapter and Cinema Paradiso. Door to the studio is around the left hand side of the studio, door at the back of the building.

• Parking: Small amount of parking available out front, more free and paid options along Brownston Street and Dungarvon Street.
