Katie Querin
Katie Querin is Whakahohe a Toi Ōritetanga / Arts For All Activator for Arts Access Aotearoa.
She has over a decade of experience working in theatre and arts accessibility.
In her role leading the Arts For All Network, she supports individuals and organisations across Aotearoa to increase their accessibility to Deaf and disabled people.
Working with anyone from independent artists to national arts organisations, Katie facilitates regular in person and online hui, offers individual advisory sessions and delivers arts accessibility workshops across the mōtū.
Previously, Katie worked as a stage manager, tall ship sailor, and accessibility advisor, spearheading the development of many new accessible programmes.
Katie blends her lived experience as a disabled person into her professional mahi.
