About the Artists:

The Hawea Flat Printmakers came into being as a result of locals wanting a creative outlet close to home, rather than having to travel to Wanaka for classes.

It is a new community initiative offering 15 students (most who are new to printmaking) accessible creative learning in Hawea.

Their practice contributes to the diversity and vitality of the region's creative community.

The Creative Spaces Project is running throughout the month of November across the Queenstown Lakes region and can be explored via an interactive online map featuring participating artists, venues and installations.

The project was created by Three Lakes Cultural Trust in partnership with the Queenstown Lakes District Council with support from Central Lakes Trust.
