Project Title: Stitches of Time

Practice: Garments and textiles with floor based elements

The Experience: Stitches of Time is an installation that examines the tension between vintage clothing as crafted, enduring objects and the disposability of contemporary fast fashion.

By bringing vintage pieces into dialogue with the speed and excess of modern consumption, the installation highlights clothing as a carrier of memory, skill, and labour.

It asks viewers to reconsider what is lost when garments are no longer made to last - not only in terms of environmental impact, but also in the value of craftsmanship and the visibility of the artisans behind the work.
