About the Artist:
Chrissy Wickes is a self taught artist living in Wānaka, a beautiful lake town in the South Island of Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Her art practice has a focus on landscapes, flora and conservation.
Chrissy paints on up-cycled objects; retro skis, house cladding, concrete walls, as well as paper and canvas.
The Creative Spaces Project is running throughout the month of November across the Queenstown Lakes region and can be explored via an interactive online map featuring participating artists, venues and installations.
