Echoknot is the musical collective of Joe Barron-Cowie and Scott Kennedy. Melding live rock music and media projection into an intense and moving performance art experience and blurring the lines between live gig and art installation, we seek to highlight the effect tone, timbre and musical narrative have upon our experience of visual elements. Our work is a dialogue between sound and vision.
Echoknot have been resident artists at LUMA festival since its inception and released our first album ‘Under The Mountain’ in 2019.
